Oribe is a hair products company whose founder has 30 years of styling heritage at the top of the editorial and salon worlds. The Oribe product line was developed “...for taste-driven individuals who know that personal style — perfectly expressed— is the ultimate luxury”.
Oribe sought out Disc Graphics to develop a package that reflects the vision of a minimalist yet high end package for their new hair care line.

Objective: achieve the look of fine writing paper; embossed personal stationary that blend old world sophistication with new age style and luxury.
Design & Execution: The folding cartons are printed on the uncoated side of paperboard with a flood coat of a special cream color. Edge stripes, are printed in specific colors based on the product category and a hidden glue seam was used to enhance the flawless look of the box. We created special colors to match product bottles and containers to achieve an uninterrupted look for the line. The color continued on to the tuck and dust flaps, and covered the internal panel to coordinate all package elements. An overall subtle textured embossing creates the backdrop for the detailed and sculpted logo embossing and de-bossing of the cartouche. Manufacturing the boxes required a delicate balance to maximize the detail in the sculpted embossing without losing the subtlety of the finer elements.
