Nubian Heritage Soap Line
Challenge:
Create an “earthy” look to cartons for the Shea Moisture Shave products in the Nubian Heritage Soap Line, reducing costs while increasing the packaging’s shelf appeal.
Solution:
Printing the product graphics on the uncoated side of the paperboard allowed us to create a natural, earthy look without sacrificing the richness of the Shea Moisture brand dress colors. To address the cost of running the 14 PMS colors in the Nubian Soap product line, DISC converted the colors to the Hexachrome™ 6-color printing process. The result was an efficient, cost-effective operation that produced the natural effect the client wanted.

- Standard straight tuck folding cartons
- 18-point SBS C1S
- Hexachrome™ 6-color offset printing
- 2 PMS colors per product carton with matte UV varnish
- Silver foil hot stamping
