Printing

paintReinvesting in the business is a cornerstone of our competitive strategy.  At Disc Graphics, we recognize the need to have the latest technology, allowing our customers to differentiate their packaging from that of their competition, and ultimately sell more product.  We offer diverse printing options from straight 4-color process to 8-colors in a single pass.  We have extensive experience in utilizing Pantone’s Hexachrome® 6-color process for which we have won numerous regional and national print awards.

Disc Graphics has the capabilities to match your requirements from large-format 6-color offset sheet-fed printing to 10-color narrow-web flexography.

Our pressroom has specialized capabilities to print, coat, and apply specialized metallics on a variety of substrates including:
  • Paper
  • Paperboard (SBS, SUS, CCNB, foil board, and more)
  • Mini-flute
  • DISCover Green paper (Tree-Free)
  • Plastic (APET, PVC, or Polypropylene, to name a few)
  • Pressure Sensitive Label Stock (includes paper, PPP, BOP, foil, acetate, and more)

Our presses operate under a closed-loop system that takes digital file standards and transfers them to our presses through a computer-based interface. This system allows for faster make-ready times and better color management.

Coatings

rollsDisc can apply conventional and specialty coatings to protect and/or enhance the look of your packaging:
  • Ultra Violet (UV) Gloss or Matte
  • Aqueous (water based) Pearlescent
  • Specialized coating including:
    • Grit or texture coating
    • Water Drop
    • Blood Splatter (Great look for a horror classic)
    • DISC “Soft-Feel” coating
    • Glitter or sparkle coating
    • Pearlized Coatings
Depending on the coating selected, we can apply certain coatings either in-line or using specialized processes.
